Star Wars: Ralph McQuarrie Concept Collection Action Figure Set

I love the idea behind this. It’s so seldom that we see anything regarding Ralph McQuarrie’s concept art for the original Star Wars. These figures are a great representation of what might have been. The differences between the concepts and the finals are mind-blowing. Leia was more like Han Solo with a smuggler’s outfit and blaster. The stormtroopers had lightsabers! As figures, they’re also fun. They all have incredible detail. I particularly like the snowtrooper’s dirty look. The only drawback is that the stormtrooper figure does not come with the shield pictured on the box. That’s too bad, but frankly for the price of this set, I really don’t mind – it’s a great deal.
